H.M.S. VICTORY

El Victory, barco británico que se ganó la fama por su participación en la batalla de Trafalgar de 1805, al mando del Almirante Sir Horacio Nelson.

The Victory, a British ship famous for her participation in the batlle of Trafalgar in 1805, under the command of Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson.

H.M.S. Bounty

En Diciembre de 1787, el Bounty zarpo de Spithead, al mando del Capitan Bligh, con 44 hombres a bordo y con la misión de transportar un cargamento de árboles del pan desde las islas de la Sociedad a las Indias Occidentales. En Abril de 1789 estalla a bordo la famosa revuelta, en la que el Bounty fue incendiado por los amotinados.

In Dicember 1787 the Bounty set sail from Spithead under the command of Captain Bligh, heading a crew of 44 men. Its mission was to carry a load of breadfruit trees from the Society Islands to the West Indies. In April 1789 the famous mutiny broke out and Bounty was burned by the mutineers.

FRAGATA

Barco velero de guerra que fue utilizado con grande eficacia por las mejores armadas durante los siglos XVII al XIX. Sufrió varias transformaciones a lo largo de su historia. Generalmente tenia tres palos, todos con velas, y estaba armado con potentes cañones.

FRAGATE

Sailing man-of-war, used with great efficiency by major fleets from the 17Th. to 19Th. Century. The vessel underwent alteration and improvement throughout its history. In general it was used as a three-masted ship, all designed to carry sails, and was armed with powerful guns.
